MahaShivRatri Volunteering
You’re invited to be part of something extraordinary—volunteer for anywhere between 3 to 40 days in the lead-up to the grand Mahashivratri 2026 celebration! This year, the volunteering journey begins on January 17, 2026, and the final day to join in is February 08, 2026. Whether you have a few days or a few weeks, it’s your chance to contribute, connect, and immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of devotion and celebration. Why not make it part of a deeper inner journey this time around?
All volunteers will receive complimentary dormitory accommodation and two nourishing meals each day.
MahaShivRatri Volunteering Eligibility
- Willingness to get involved and give yourself to whatever is needed in the moment.
- You have completed the Inner Engineering program, including Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya.
- You are aged 18 or above.
MahaShivRatri Volunteering Duration
One can apply based on individual availability from 3 days to 40 days. One can join any MSR volunteering team starting from 17th January but no later than 23rd February.
How can I register as a volunteer for Mahashivratri 2026?
Please note that only individuals who have completed Inner Engineering, including Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya, are eligible to volunteer. A photo ID card is mandatory.
For Indian nationals, acceptable forms of ID include your Passport, Voter ID, Driver’s License, or Aadhaar Card. Please make sure to bring the same photo ID that you uploaded in the Volunteering Interest Form.
Volunteers will be housed in temporary dormitory facilities specially arranged for the Mahashivratri event. These volunteering opportunities are open to all attending the celebrations, and it’s the dedication and spirit of our volunteers that make this extraordinary event possible.
However, due to limited infrastructure at the Isha Yoga Center, volunteer dormitory accommodation will not be available for those arriving after February 12, 2026.
