Hello companions, Here I am going to share my experience and the miracles of sea-going world at
India’s First submerged passage Aquarium, although it was by artificial yet it truly looks genuine.
VGP Aquarium on East Coast Road, Chennai with 150 species from 5 sea-going zones call 80 million liters of unblemished water spreading over crosswise over 20000 square feet their home.
On Monday, July 15, 2019, my family and I decided to embark on a day trip to VGP Universal Kingdom, eager to experience the excitement it promised. Known for its thrilling Land, Water, and Snow rides, it seemed like the perfect place to unwind and create memories together.
Being a Monday, the notorious Chennai traffic made the journey a bit more taxing. We began our drive from Porur, a 25 kilometer stretch from VGP, setting off at 10:00 AM. Despite the sluggish traffic, we finally reached our destination by 11:40 AM, the anticipation growing with every passing kilometer.
In our sedan, the five of us were a bit cramped for space. So, my cousin and I decided to take the bike for a quicker route, hoping to make up for lost time.
With only a few hours to spare, we opted for the Land and Water rides, choosing the Rs. 650 per head ticket. The excitement in the air was palpable as we prepared to dive into the adventure that awaited us.

The day before, I had gotten inked on my left arm, so I had to be extra cautious, mindful not to overstrain my hand. With the fresh tattoo, I had planned to stay away from the water rides, but my main purpose for coming to VGP Universal Kingdom was to visit the aquarium. However, I couldn’t help but be swayed by my family’s enthusiasm, and, after a bit of back and forth, I decided to join in their choice of activities.
We ended up enjoying quite a few land and water rides, the thrill of each ride distracting me from my earlier reservations. Despite the careful consideration, it turned out to be an exhilarating day. We wrapped up our adventure around 5:45 PM, with my sisters browsing through the handicrafts stalls, eager to pick up a few souvenirs.
By 6:15 PM, the sky began to darken ominously, and we made the decision to head home before the rain hit. The clouds were rolling in, signaling that our time at the park had come to an end.
VGP Marine Kingdom (Chennai)

As everyone piled into the car, we slowly made our way toward the bikes. I turned to the driver and said, “Hey, just let them go. We’ve got a chance to visit the Marine Aquarium.” It was a spontaneous decision, but one I was eager to experience. In about an hour, we would wrap it up and head back home by 9 PM.
To my surprise, the driver seemed equally intrigued by the idea. So, together, we made our way to the tunnel aquarium. The entrance fee was Rs. 500 per person—a bit on the pricier side, but I knew that the experience would be worth every penny.

First we asked the supporting group when will the end time she said it will around 8.30 pm so we loosened up that we had around 90 mints more. On there passageway they take photograph us in front of the green mate and we gave present.
From the moment we entered, I couldn’t help but marvel at the aquarium’s design, carefully crafted to mimic the marine life’s natural habitat. It was as if we had stepped into an entirely different world, one where ocean creatures, I once believed were exclusive to discovery channels, swam freely before our eyes.
The experience was nothing short of breathtaking. The first exhibit we encountered was a massive Alligator Gar—its imposing presence and fierce look were almost surreal. Up close, it seemed even more unbelievable, its ancient features almost frozen in time.

As we moved deeper into the aquarium, we encountered a variety of species—many of them dangerous, yet fascinating. There were Lion Fish, Moray eels, Stone Fish, and Stingrays, each more mesmerizing than the last. The experience was unlike anything I could have imagined, with creatures so close that words failed to capture the awe I felt.
Among the many wonders, the vibrant coral fish caught my eye, their colors shimmering in the water. And, of course, there was Nemo, in all his glory – darting playfully among the coral. It was as though the entire aquatic world was unfolding right before us.
Tunnel Aquarium in Chennai

At the last part I achieved the zone what I wanted here. The Tunnel aquarium such a lovely encounter I looked here. Above our head Sharks are adjusting to a great extent and gathering angles, The improvement made which giving a genuine submerged feel.

Primary disadvantage I wanna share with you is numerous species name was not referenced the here. Other than that everything was fine. On the off chance that you are a nature and sea sweetheart, my sentiment is to visit at least ideal and night is the better time to visit.

Around 8.30 we left from the aquarium and my awful its substantial rain. Sligthly made angry and I purchased vasilline from close by shop to shield my tattoo from wet since we have to pass by bike. My family achieved home by 8.45 and because of downpour we reach by 10.00 pm.
